AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR IN BHUTAN

Flight to Paro International Airport in Bhutan itself is one of the most beautiful flight routes over the majestic Himalayas like Mount Everest and aerial view of the whole eastern Himalaya Ranges. Landing at Paro is yet another experience! Paro international Airport is one of the calmest and peaceful airports in the world where none of other international flights are allowed except Bhutan Airlines and Druk Air, Royal Bhutan Airlines.

Our expert Himalayan guides will greet you at the airport with the short introduction of the day. We will start our drive than to Thimphu – The capital city of Bhutan, smallest, cleanest city, without traffic lights yet no car honking!

We will have breathtaking photography session at oldest suspension Bridge in Bhutan known as Tamchoe Zam, from 15^th century, depending on the flight arrival time. Pictures session at Chuzom the confluence of the river from Thimphu and Paro is always worth a stop.

Early Morning, we will pay a visit to the gigantic statue of Shakyamuni Buddha which is erected on a mountain top is considered one the largest statues of Buddha in the world. The statue is made of bronze with a cover of gold which symbolizes indestructibility. The statue is located atop a hill in kuenselphodrang Nature Park. With the morning sunrise we will have breathtaking photography results of the Buddha Statue. 

Later we will also visit Takin Preserve, situated on the outskirts of Thimphu Valley where we have preserved park for the ‘Takin’ the National animal of Bhutan. Takin has its unique appearance, where the legend has it that, the Lama Devine mad man has shown the miracle in inventing this unique creature with head of the goat and body of a cow. We will stroll around the city in the afternoon. Later in the evening we will visit the most historical Tashichoe Dzong with flag lowering ceremony by the national guard of Bhutan and we will also take pictures with the beautiful evening lighting.

After our breakfast, or early morning we will drive to the most beautiful pass called Dochula Pass. If the weather permits, one could see breathtaking view of the sacred snow peak Himalayas with 108 stupas. We will also try to do some meditation and yoga here with the fresh mountain air, which is totally good for our lungs. We will also visit the most beautiful Punakha Dzong which is located in between the two rivers.

The iconic site in Bhutan is Tiger’s Nest Monastery which has become the revered buddhist site in Bhutan. We would plan the hike before the monring dawn, which would be much easir for the hiker to climb.

Tiger’s Nest is one of the most to do sightseeing in Bhutan not only becasuse of the historical significant but also because of it’s breathtaking locations and beautiful mountain trails. Therefore we must start early monring from Thimphu.

Later in the evening we will retrace our journey back to Thimphu again
