Detailed Itinerary
We may take Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines to connect with Paro International Airport in Bhutan. Flying on the wings of the Bhutan airbus is considered to be a lifetime experience for the travelers. This flight has the best view of the all snow peak Himalayas including Mount Everest (8848m), the tallest mountain in the planet.
Landing and taking-off is what many people would love to experience here in Paro international Airport. After your arrival in Bhutan, our team will transfer you in Thimphu Hotel for the first night, because it is important to relax and shower in order to acclimatization. We may pick our places of interest within Thimphu depending upon the arrival time. In the evening we will also stroll around the capital city of Bhutan, exploring and finding the calm and peaceful capital city in the world.
Overnight Hotel: Migmar/Amodhara/Gakil
After our breakfast we will start our sightseeing in Thimphu. We will visit, Buddha statue which gives you the better view of the whole Thimphu valley. We will also visit memorial chorten and circumambulate around with the Bhutanese folks. We will also visit Taking’s preserved areas to see the national animals of Bhutan. We will also stop at the beautiful palace viewpoint near Dupthob Nunnery. Afternoon, after our lunch, we will start our drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass. With the beautiful pictures stops, we will start our drive to Punakha at our camping places.
Overnight: Camping at Zomlingthang, Punakha | Altitude: 1500m
After our breakfast, we will start our day by visiting Punakha Dzong, which is the most historical and impressive fortress of Bhutan, which is sited just at the middle of the two rivers. Afternoon, we will also visit temple of fertility on foot.
After lunch, we will retrace our journey back to Paro, via Dochu la pass. Reaching Paro, we will visit Paro Dzong and Paro national museum. Later in the evening we will walk around the Paro town.
Overnight: Camping Altitude: 2200m
Today we will have the most amazing hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, the world revered Buddhist temple. It takes almost whole day for the average hikers to hike Tiger’s Nest temple but it is always worth.
We will plan our lunch around the city, depending upon the hiking pace of the people. Afternoon, we will also try the outdoor activities in Paro, like playing archery and Khuru, wearing the traditional Bhutanese dresses.
Overnight & Dinner: Farm House
Today our team will bid your farewell at the Airport. Today our team will whole heartedly Thank you for your visit in Bhutan. Wish you a safe flight home.
