The Dochula Festival, or Druk Wangyel Tshechu, is celebrated every December 13th to honor the 4th Druk Gyalpo, King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, for his leadership during the 2003 conflict. Detailed Itinerary

Experience a warm welcome upon your arrival at the airport, where we’ll transfer you to Thimphu. Along the way, enjoy a refreshing stop at Bhutan’s oldest suspension bridge, Tachogang Zampa, built in the 15th century by the legendary Thangtong Gyalpo, known as the “Iron Bridge Man.”

As we continue our journey, we’ll drive through Chuzom, the picturesque confluence of the Thimphu and Paro rivers, which eventually flow into India and Bangladesh. In the evening, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay and dinner in Thimphu.
