Detailed Itinerary

The oldest suspension bridge offers a fantastic photography opportunity. However, the best shots along the way are capturing portraits of locals inside the temporary stalls by the highway. After checking in, we’ll enjoy a leisurely walk to the Memorial Chorten, built in 1974 in honor of Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Here, you can observe Bhutanese locals performing circumambulation around the stupas, a cherished cultural tradition. The scene is also a fantastic opportunity for capturing some of Bhutan’s most iconic faces, perfect for portrait photography.

Good and Reasonable Hotel in Thimphu would be Hotel Amodhara

In the early morning, as the sun rises, we will drive to the Buddha Statue to capture stunning photos of the world’s largest Buddha. Here, we’ll arrange for portraits of people with the Buddha statue in the background, ensuring the perfect shot. To enhance the experience, we will hire monks, compensating them for their time and positioning, to help create memorable, authentic images.

Early in the morning, we’ll set out to capture the breathtaking sunrise as the first rays of light touch the mountain peaks, shrouded in low-lying fog and mist. We’ll reach the pass and prepare our cameras to seize the moment. After our photography session, we’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Dochula Eco Resort.

Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic hike to Lungtsutse Goenpa, where we’ll have the opportunity to capture stunning landscape shots of the majestic Himalayas.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Punakha Dzong, which is particularly beautiful for photography during the evening. Inside this historic fortress, there will be a special architectural photography session.

In the morning, we’ll begin our adventure by visiting the longest suspension bridge, where we’ll capture the moment as students cross this impressive structure. Next, we’ll drive to Hotel Lobesa for a delightful breakfast. Afterward, we’ll explore the charming Rinchengang Village, a picturesque and authentic rustic settlement in Bhutan, perfect for portrait photography of the children. To make their experience even more special, we might consider picking up small gift hampers for the kids.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to the serene Gangtey Goenpa Monastery, offering a peaceful setting and a great opportunity to photograph the monks in their daily routines.
