After your majestic flights landing experience, we will transfer it to Thimphu. On the way we will stop at the oldest iron suspension bridge from 15^th century. Later we will cross the confluence of the river from Paro and Thimphu.

In the evening, we will stroll around the town and visit Kaja Throm, where you can see the organic farm produce things, like tasty vegetables, fruits, pure homemade honey, handmade chili paste and many more.

After our leisurely breakfast, we will start our local sightseeing. Memorial stupa is interesting site to visit in the morning to see the locals chanting the prayers and spinning the prayer wheel. Later we will drive up to Buddha Doderma, the biggest sited Buddha in the world which is made out of bronze and gold.

If we wish we can also go for a refreshing hike known as Kuenselphodrang Nature Hike which takes about 1 – 2 hours easy walk in the nature park area.

Today we will check out from the hotel and start our drive to Phobjikha Valley which takes about easy 5 Hours drive from Thimphu. On the way we will also stop for the most amazing picture stops with the breathtaking view of the whole range of eastern Himalayas.

Later we will take a hike in Temple of fertility, which is the famous phallus temple! Fertility temple is also locally known as Chemi Lhakhang. This is 15^th centuries temple, where most of the couple visits here for fertility purpose like whishing for the child.

Later in the afternoon, we will start driving to Phobjikha Valley.

After our breakfast we will go for the beautiful nature hike in Phobjikha Valley commonly known as Gangtey Nature Trails. We will have more opportunity to see the heavenly birds known Black Necked Cranes flying closely for the pictures.

Gangtey monastery is another historical Buddhist temple which is must to visit while in Phobjikha Valley. Later we will start our drive to Trongsa.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Trongsa Dzong, which is unique than the other fortress. It is located in the high slope of Trongsa town overlooking the beautiful gorge of Magdue Chhu River.

Overnight & Dinner: Yangkil Resort

Early morning after our breakfast we will drive up to the Tharpaling Monastery to attend this one day sacred ceremony of antique unfurling of Thangka, the wall hanging. Tharpaling Thongdrel consist of unfolding the historical giant wall hanging of Jowo Jampa (the future Buddha) and Khuenkhen Longchen Rabjampa who was a great writer, mediator or Buddhist philosopher after Guru Padmasambhava and Vimalamitra (8^th centuries Indian Buddhist Monk)Therefore this is the most holy and sacred Thangka in Bhutan.

Later in the eveing, we will drive to our hotel and relax.

Overnight and Dinner: Hotel Tashi Yoezerling or similar

In the morning, after our breakfast we will start our sightseeing from oldest Buddhist temple in the whole of Bhutan which was built in 659 AD by a Tibetan King Songtseng Gyembo. This temple remarks the earliest era of the Buddhist history in Bhutan.

We will take a walk to the Kurje Temple, another sacred temple where Guru Rimpoche has left his body print on the rock in 8^th century. Tamshing Goenpa is another must to visit temple in Bumthang because here the walpainting is the sacred hand painting of the treasure discoverer Terten Pema Lingpa.

Later in the afternoon, we will drive to Mebartsho, the Buring Lake which looks like a deep whirlpool of the flowing river between the rocks, where it is believed that Treasure was discovered by great Treasure revealer Terton Pema Lingpa.

In the evening, we will stroll around the Chamkhar Town.

In the morning, we will start retracing our journey back to Puanakha from Bumthang crossing over 3 different passes such Kekila pass (2750 meters), Yotongla Pass (3350 meters), Pelala Pass (3250 meters) above the sea level.

On the way we take several picture stops including the coffee stops at amazing willing waterfall cafe in Trongsa which is just 15 minutes drive away from Trongsa town towards the Mangduechu (chazam Check point)

After our leisurely breakfast, we will drive to the north side of the Mochu River for our Hike to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Temple. This temple is good for hikers and trekkers but it can be hiked by pretty much everyone. It is located little about the Ngyezergang Valley around 3 – 4 kilometers walk away. The highlight of the hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal chorten is, it gives us breathtaking view of the whole of Punakha with the lush green paddy fields (summer) and amazing meanders of the female river called Mo chu.

We will also plan for the picnic lunch around the riverside. In the afternoon, we will visit Punakha Dzong, the most impressive fortress in Bhutan. Dress code for the visitor is very important here, which includes, longs sleeves T shirts and Long paints. Hats and scarf are not allowed here.

In the evening, we will refresh ourselves walking across the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan which is 180 meters long. Sponsored by the German project in the year 1999

After 1 hours of drive ascending up, we will reach Dochula Pass. It would be a second opportunity to see the Himalayas mountain ranges from Dochula Pass.

Later we will visit Paro National Museum, which house the art and artifacts from 12^th Century till last 18^th century.

The most iconic site in Bhutan is Tiger’s Nest Monastery which has become the revered buddhist site in Bhutan. We would plan the hike before the monring dawn, which would be much easir for the hiker to climb.

Tiger’s Nest is one of the most to do sightseeing in Bhutan not only becasuse of the historical significant but also because of it’s breathtaking locations and beautiful mountain trails.

Today, after our breakfast our guides and driver will drop you at the Airport.
