Thank you SAJAN, for my WONDERFUL Bhutan trip! If you are looking for a thoughtful, patient and sincere tour guide, please look for SAJAN from Tales of Bhutan! He puts his heart and soul into introducing his beautiful country to me and my sister and we are so grateful to him. He makes our trip totally worthwhile, and he was patient enough to answer every of our concerns personally during our one-year planning with him. Upon our arrival to Bhutan, Sajan welcomed each of us with a scarf that had our name printed on top! What a great surprise! My sister and I are both in our 50s, and we were worried that we may not be able to adapt to all the climbing and the altitude. However, Sajan was mindful of our concerns and constantly asked us if we needed water, snacks etc. He carries a heavy bag pack with him all the time so he can bring biscuits and a hot water flask for us should we require some energy booster. Such a humble service that we were not expecting at all! Sajan planned the itinerary very differently from the rest, as he brought us to places that probably only the locals know. His knowledge about the country is commendable and we can feel his love and passion for Bhutan just from his stories and descriptions. He wanted us to enjoy the views and temples instead of getting distracted, so Sajan became our personal photographer and videographer. He is great at that, and he even combined the photos and videos taken for the day into reels for us every evening so we can share the beautiful views with our friends and family back in Singapore. Each reel was accompanied by their Bhutanese traditional music and songs.Tiger's Nest was a challenge for me as I am not a regular trekker and I was really slow. However, Sajan was with me all the way no matter how long I took, encouraging me and giving me an extra push to tell me that I can make it and I am reaching the top. Without his patience and encouragement, I wouldn't have made it to Tiger's Nest! He went beyond just being a normal tour guide. Credits to Ram, our driver, who is very funny and lightened up the atmosphere even when the climbing got tough. Please keep singing :) In all, the trip was made possible because of Sajan and this is definitely a trip i'll never forget. Sajan is the owner of the travel agency, but he is not familiar with putting up his service on different modes of social media. So if you're looking for a GEM, please look for Sajan from Tales of Bhutan!![]()

More Than a Guide – They Became Family! Our journey through Bhutan was unforgettable, and much of the magic came from traveling with Sajan. What sets him apart is that he is not only the owner of the travel agency but also leads as the tour guide. He doesn’t guide just because it’s his job—he does it because he genuinely wants to share how beautiful and unique Bhutan is.From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at ease, blending professionalism with the warmth of Bhutanese hospitality. He didn’t just plan activities—he looked out for us every step of the way, whether it was making sure we had enough water, adjusting the pace when we were tired, or surprising us with little moments that made the journey even more special. His deep knowledge of Bhutan’s culture, history and hidden gems enriched every experience, whether we were hiking to Tiger’s Nest, exploring ancient monasteries, or tasting local delicacies. Oh my goodness, his love for his Kings was admirable! We also have to give a shoutout to our amazing driver, Ram! He was innocent, funny in his own way and incredibly helpful. Every ride with him was filled with laughter and he was always ready to lend a hand with the friendliest smile. Whether navigating the winding mountain roads or making quick stops for photos, he kept us safe throughout the journey.Ram always called Sajan "Jojo" (big brother) even though Sajan is younger, and the two of them worked so well together, sharing lots of laughter and respect.Together, Sajan and Ram created a trip we’ll never forget. They weren’t just service providers—they became friends and family we will cherish for life. I knew Bhutan would be an amazing trip, especially traveling with my BFF, but this duo made our Bhutan experience extraordinary, filling it with kindness, laughter and meaningful connections.Highly, highly recommended! They don’t just meet expectations—they REDEFINE them.![]()
