 King Jigme Khesar Namgay Wangchuck is the 5 King of Bhutan, who is the head of state, and considered as a living god of compassion in human form by his people. King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck is the eldest prince of the 4th Druk Gyalpo King Jigme Singye Wangchuck and Her Majesty the Queen mother Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck. Under his Majesty’s dynamic reigns, Bhutan has become the happiest country in the world. The great fourth, has also introduced the Philosophy of Gross National Happiness which is the main guideline for the developmental progress of the country.

His Majesty the Fifth King of Bhutan, King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck was married in 2011 with Her Majesty the Queen, Ashi Jetsuen Pema Wangchuck. We are now blessed with two prince & a princes, the Royal Highness, Prince Jigme Namgyal Wangchuck (born in 5 February 2016), Prince Jigme Ugyen Wangchuck (born in 19 March 2020) and also princes Her Royal Highness was bron in 9th September, 2023.
